With a “safer-at-home” order now in effect for all of Wisconsin, our staff is producing resources across our program areas to help those all over Wisconsin. We will collect and link these resources as they’re available. Tools for small businesses, farmers, and those looking for financial support have already been produced and given to educators to help the public. You are invited to follow along with Extension as we share the latest resources as they pertain to the COVID-19 outbreak and how Extension is responding via this page as well as the following website:

Your health and well being is a priority.  Resilient Wisconsin is a useful collection of tips on how to maintain physical, mental, and emotional health, with additional tools for parents, caregivers, and those living with behavioral health concerns.

Mr. Young’s Adapted Physical Education Youtube Channel is creating videos about how to have PE at home using materials you have on hand. Mr. Jordan Young is an Adapted PE teacher in La Crosse, WI, but his youtube PE videos can be used by anyone.

Storytime Online has videos of professional actors reading picture books with animated illustrations.

Cosmic Kids Yoga is a free youtube channel that combines storytelling with yoga movements for kids 3+ to get their wiggles out or deal with their anxiety.

The page is organized by grade level and is chock full of Extension and 4-H resources as well as high quality, fun, learning activities from a range of other sources.  As you would expect, we focused as much as possible on experiential learning and fun.

Nutrition Assistance Programs – FoodShare and WIC

Individuals with limited means may qualify for supplemental nutrition assistance from the
federal government. These programs will provide benefits that can be spent like cash at grocery

Food Pantries: Impact 211 should be the first call for updated information regarding which pantries and meals sites are open and how they are operation during the COVID19. Simply dial 2-1-1 to access the resource directory.
